From my ”Bhagavad Gita” sketch collections..this is one of the several sketches i was sketching from the paintings that were there in the book while reading it.

You gave me nothing but pain and sorrow..
You gave me nothing but depression and tears..
You made me nothing but only faint at heart..
You never took a single step but made me run miles and miles for you..
You gifted me nothing but made me sacrifice many things..
I am staying happy now by making others happy and I even don’t know why..
I am nothing; not able to think in a right way properly of myself..
You are responsible for making me what I am now – so love me for that..
Love your creation; Love me now – because I hate you!

Books that changed my life
Undoubtedly, it is the “Bhagavad Gita – as it is”
In fact I never had this habit of reading books until I graduated from college and it all started when I was in hyderabad. Had some `ing roomates with me who were all an absolutely enthuless `ads and they used to keep reading books books and books only…and me the odd guy out with them and wanted to be a happy going vetti guy there. So I tried to bring them my way – finally it worked out the other way round…!!!!
Yes. I was making some futile attempts to reduce my weight and after a heavy workout and improper diet intake finally fell fainted right on the middle of a main road..after which I went into a DEPRESSION state of mind for next few days. And accidetally I have this habit of sketching when `am in to a depression and took this Bhagavad Gita book to sketch the paintings that were there in it…and as I was reading few pages – felt it like an Enlightening one giving answers for all the questions that were running in my depressed-state-of-mind that time. Belive me… all it took was just 2-3 days to finish the whole GITA and with a true understanding. That was my first read on a BIG BOOK completely and It was at that point of time I realised the importance of “State of mind” while reading books.
After this I myself started taking and reading those books of my roommates and that included some books list that influenced my life like :
“The Alchemist (an enlightening one)”, “Eleven Minutes (an offensive one)”, “Manual of warrior of Light (a great piece)” – by Paulo Coelho
Some enlightening series.. like Jonathan Livingston seagull (forgot the author name) , The Monk who sold his Ferrari (by Robin Sharma) , The Himalayan Masters (forgot the author name) , Black wind (by Deepti Naval), Love Story ( by eric segal) etc.
And now I have become more as a situational reader – and most often an e-reader – trying to get stuffs that I want to read right on my desktop through internet – depending on my ‘state of mind’ and read those stuffs in detail.
Books that I have read more than once
Undoubtedly, it is the “Manual of the warrior of Light” - by Paulo Coelho
A book that I would take to a desert island
Undoubtedly, it is the “Bhagavad Gita – as it is”
Books that made me laugh
Linda Goodman`s – Love Signs – My Friend and I used to apply the book concepts to all people around us and do a PhD…used to have a good fun with this book.
Books that made me cry
Undoubtedly, it is the “Karnanin Kadhai” (a Thamizh book – “The story of Karna” – a character from the epic Mahabharatha..have cried for him literally many times)
A Book that I wish to write
Nice tag ! I used to tell one of my old friend many a times that I want to write a book with title “ THE MONK WHO WANTS TO BUY A FERRARI “
with me in lead role.. J
Books I am currently reading
1)Ippadikku Suriya.. (In Thamizh ) – an autobiography by Thamizh actor Suriya who narrates first 30 years of his Life
2)Hindu Gods and Godesses – by Swami Harshananda – depicts all the deity forms of Hindu Gods and Godesses
Books I have listed to read
Wanted to take a Book read Plan- that I saw in one of my blogpal`s blog – to read 9 books by 9 different authors from different parts of the world in next 9 months and to post the review in the blog…So this is the Plan-to-read books list. However not going to abide by the last rule – ie. Authors from different parts of the world..
1)The Secret of Karmayoga ( by Jayadayal Goyandka )
- Happened to read few chapters. Can`t wait and wanted to read it completely…and i think this is the only book going to help me out in future
2) Siddhartha – by Hermann Hesse ( `had already read before the chapters that relate siddhartha and a character named ‘kamala’ from this book and I was thinking for a long time to read it completely but somehow missed it. Now got reminded of this book after seeing in one of my blogpal`s blog and want to read it completely now…)
3) Zen in the Martial arts – by Joe Hyams ( had already read few chapters here and there..now want to ‘drink’ each and every chapter right from the cover page)
4) Lost Fighting arts of vietnam – by Dr.Haha Lung ( had already read few chapters here and there..now want to read it completely..infact want to buy all the collections from this author..)
5) Lateral Thinking – by Edward De Brono ( got this as the most-recommended-for-me-book as a compliment from my previous oraganisation 2 years back while winning a creative competition and I attempted to read it but could not understand it all J and its still lying in my book rack as it was…let me challenge it by attempting to read it one more time now)
6) Men are from Mars Women are from Venus – havent read it so far though wanted many a times before to read it… ( need to buy it L )
7) One hundered years of Solitude – by gabriel garcia marquez – No idea about this book – just got attracted with the title and going to attempt it ( and I don’t need to buy it also…as one of my friend left it in my home.. J )
Ippadikku Suriya… (In Thamizh) – CURRENTLY ONGOING – an autobiography by Thamizh actor Suriya who narrates first 30 years of his Life – the inferiority complex he used to have, his falling for love with Jo and the Transformation he underwent and the self-confidence he gained after that… So my blog post will commence from this book review..
9) His name is Rajinikanth – Biography of Actor Rajinikanth ( need to buy it L )
Fair enough… ??
Any readers here – who have any Books to suggest which they feel like “The Book that changed their life”…pls drop a line of comment.

I registered myself for a corporate program on “Leadership” and had the first day session today.I was able to get many valuable inputs through this session. After completing the program – i`ll try to summarize some key concepts over here in next few days.
Well i can share lot of things about my views regarding this so called – LEADERSHIP.
But – today while i was listening to the program ideas, as usual got some questions in mind .
I am basically a spiritual seeker and so felt the importance of these questions that come in my mind.
Because what essentially is usually being taught in any Management programs is that – MAKE YOUR LIFE , smooth going by ‘PLANNING THINGS’…and it all revolves around goal setting, plan making and plan executing and plan management.
And what essentially is usually conveyed in spiritual world is that – DON`T PLAN your life..and TAKE LIFE AS IT COMES…
For me both of these cases works out on different situations..and how exactly to bring a balance between succeeding as a professional and as a moral humanitarian in life becomes quite a BIG question in me. Dunno how many readers here are able to understand the depth of my doubt and `am really really very tired now to make my question with clear words too…sorry about it – if this post is too incomprehensible..Good Night !

PS : Feelings… with a 90 % Drowsy eyes(updating @ 11:14 PM): My Dear blog…having spent a lovely time with you so far here all these days , i am very sorry to mention you that my job responsibilities in office are increasing nowadays , and all that i can foresee is a series of weeks of unrest , where i will be sitting in front of my system till late night breaking my head to accomplish tasks which are really not going to add any meaning in my life,my desires and my quest. Yet i`ll try my best to get in touch with you with same affection and curiosity as before…I am worried that i may not get in touch with you with the same curiosity as i used to have..Thanks for being my stress reliever and i am sure you will continue with your valuable role…Thanks once again..G`nite!

Oh My God !
Yesterday i returned late night from office after having a brain storming and exhausting day. After entering my home , i immediately switched on the TV remote first without even removing my shoes – and this trailer of this Thamizh movie started like this “First time in the history of Tamil Cinema…..One legend in ten different characters”…oh my god..for the next 3-4 min, i was not able to able to move my eyes, eye lids, eye balls, eye lashes, hands, legs, body etc…Total Pause in standing position. The trailer was “World-Class”. Simply amazing…Tamil cinema is really marching towards a next world class quality.
I was actually wondering few days back..why for the audio release function for this movie(probably on Apr 25th)..Mr.Jackie Chan ..has been invited. That too..by paying him around 25 crores for audio release function only..and Not only Jackie chan..Mr.Big B & TN CM and many more big celeberities going to witness it…. I guess even the hero of the movie wont get such a pay. But after watching the trailer only it seems like – the movie deserves it. I was able to see few martial art scenes in that very fast moving trailer and i guess Mr.Jackie wud ve contributed something for making it. Dunno. Anyways i dunno how abt the movie….
But the Trailer of the movie is worth watching………..(100 times)

`cha…Bachelor Life sucks !!!
I had bought one Best of India – First Harvest – GREEN TEA pack few weeks back as one of my friend suggested to try it and struggled to prepare a cup of tea out of it.
Inspite having a gas stove at my home…not able to prepare just a cup of tea. Puppy shame ! and the best part is “I am reasonably good in cooking’..all that I am scared is to light the stove. Very poor in understanding it. Desperately to try it out, Last week I started asking all the tea shops near by to get HOT water in my flask and believe me, No shop wala is ready to give Hot water. What a shame ! And then asked my house owner aunty from the first floor to prepare and give me hot water. She gave it.
Then started the real scene. Unopened the tea pack and found some weird dry tea leaves in it. What am I supposed to do with that? Dindigul-ukku amma-kku call poatten…she told add the leaves in water and heat it until it comes to a nice boil…and I have a flask of hot water here…now BOIL ? means what??…dunno..still wanted to try..so added the dry tea leaves into the hot water…and you know all the tiny leaves were nicely floating happily on the surface. Aiyyooo !!! what is this mess ?? I wanted a cup of tea – how am in supposed to drink this mess tea leaves soup ???!!! . Can`t do it. Thank God ..house owner aunty dint see it.
Finally you know what I did.
This weekend – Bought a New Prestige – Coffee Percolator cum Tea Brewer.
(Smart right? )
Now Come as a guest to my home and see – how well I prepare it. Chumma…. Tea Aroma itself tastes great.
Pannitoaamla…!
