[ you be any damn VIP in US / UK / or australia...but when you enter our area..you 'HAVE' to be like this only.. ]

Thalae daaaa….

Va(r)ttaaaa….

`am in a perfect mood this week…things are going better and `am self-satisfied in life aspects, job , parents etc etc.. Thanks to maximus that i started this week watching him..and i feel my blood coursing through my veins so fresh…especially the last scene of the movie,as he dies down where he tries to open the door to heaven in his mind and his wife & son awaiting him there with a sweet smile …this one scene and the background score is staying in my heart this whole week. Actually i found out one thing. This background score & the title music in ‘Ghajini’ are same…harris had done some ctrl+x ctrl+v from this movie…anyways the favorite scene video here again…and Thanks to maximus once again. He lives in my heart.

And the favorite arabic backgroung score in this one…

“My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next”

Dont mind. Just posting this after watching GLADIATOR an another time after almost an year..and yes it`s the dialogue of maximus’ and the favorite of everyone..

Somehow accidentally when i was listening to this song now in ofiz , and as i was reading my mail inbox – got to see these two pics below in a fwd mail(and with some more cute clicks like as below)- and the clicks which i felt matched nicely with the song..and my mood is in air…now. So some scribblings here..

 Okay..That`s it ! (whistle..)

You should try this!!

How good are you in Self-Control?? Do you claim you have it? What if I prove now you don’t have it…?

One of my colleagues demonstrated this to me today…and after getting fascinated about this…did some PhD in the Net to find out why actually this occurs. Still I have not found a convincing and clear answer. Anyway let’s go to the event…and you too do the PhD…

Well. Are you in right senses now? Okay…then do you have enough ‘Self-Control’ to control your feet…?? Yes??

No! But, you can’t. Let`s see…Here are the instructions to follow:

1. (WITHOUT anyone watching you – optional ) While sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make Clockwise Circles continuously. (Or lift your right foot and try to write the numeral ‘9’ in the air…doing it in clockwise circle pattern.) . Keep doing it.

2. Now, while doing this simulataneously, draw the number “6″ from top to bottom in the air with your Right Hand.

Your foot will change direction…right?? Now what happened to your Self –Control??

I told you!!! And there’s nothing you can do about it!

I am trying to see the answer since this morning – some says like L/R brain co-ordination, some says this is the basic principle learnt by orthopedic surgeons etc.

Do let me know if someone able to get the clarity of the answer if you attempt to find it.

PS: I still tried ALL other possible combinations with the two legs, and the two hands and in the two directions…and found like only like pair (ie. left leg, left hand or right leg, right hand not working)

Books that changed my life

Undoubtedly, it is the “Bhagavad Gita – as it is”

In fact I never had this habit of reading books until I graduated from college and it all started when I was in hyderabad. Had some `ing roomates with me who were all an absolutely enthuless `ads and they used to keep reading books books and books only…and me the odd guy out with them and wanted to be a happy going vetti guy there. So I tried to bring them my way – finally it worked out the other way round…!!!!

Yes. I was making some futile attempts to reduce my weight and after a heavy workout and improper diet intake finally fell fainted right on the middle of a main road..after which I went into a DEPRESSION state of mind for next few days. And accidetally I have this habit of sketching when `am in to a depression and took this Bhagavad Gita book to sketch the paintings that were there in it…and as I was reading few pages – felt it like an Enlightening one giving answers for all the questions that were running in my depressed-state-of-mind that time. Belive me… all it took was just 2-3 days to finish the whole GITA and with a true understanding. That was my first read on a BIG BOOK completely and It was at that point of time I realised the importance of “State of mind” while reading books.

After this I myself started taking and reading those books of my roommates and that included some books list that influenced my life like :

“The Alchemist (an enlightening one)”, “Eleven Minutes (an offensive one)”, “Manual of warrior of Light (a great piece)” – by Paulo Coelho

Some enlightening series.. like Jonathan Livingston seagull (forgot the author name) , The Monk who sold his Ferrari (by Robin Sharma) , The Himalayan Masters (forgot the author name) , Black wind (by Deepti Naval), Love Story ( by eric segal) etc.

And now I have become more as a situational reader – and most often an e-reader – trying to get stuffs that I want to read right on my desktop through internet – depending on my ‘state of mind’ and read those stuffs in detail.

Books that I have read more than once

Undoubtedly, it is the “Manual of the warrior of Light” - by Paulo Coelho

A book that I would take to a desert island

Undoubtedly, it is the “Bhagavad Gita – as it is”

Books that made me laugh

Linda Goodman`s – Love Signs – My Friend and I used to apply the book concepts to all people around us and do a PhD…used to have a good fun with this book.

Books that made me cry

Undoubtedly, it is the “Karnanin Kadhai” (a Thamizh book – “The story of Karna” – a character from the epic Mahabharatha..have cried for him literally many times)

A Book that I wish to write

Nice tag ! I used to tell one of my old friend many a times that I want to write a book with title “ THE MONK WHO WANTS TO BUY A FERRARI

with me in lead role.. J

Books I am currently reading

1)Ippadikku Suriya.. (In Thamizh ) – an autobiography by Thamizh actor Suriya who narrates first 30 years of his Life

2)Hindu Gods and Godesses – by Swami Harshananda – depicts all the deity forms of Hindu Gods and Godesses

However not going to abide by the last rule – ie. Authors from different parts of the world..

5) Lateral Thinking – by Edward De Brono ( got this as the most-recommended-for-me-book as a compliment from my previous oraganisation 2 years back while winning a creative competition and I attempted to read it but could not understand it all J and its still lying in my book rack as it was…let me challenge it by attempting to read it one more time now)

6) Men are from Mars Women are from Venus – havent read it so far though wanted many a times before to read it… ( need to buy it L )

7) One hundered years of Solitude – by gabriel garcia marquez – No idea about this book – just got attracted with the title and going to attempt it ( and I don’t need to buy it also…as one of my friend left it in my home.. J )

8) Ippadikku Suriya… (In Thamizh) – CURRENTLY ONGOING – an autobiography by Thamizh actor Suriya who narrates first 30 years of his Life – the inferiority complex he used to have, his falling for love with Jo and the Transformation he underwent and the self-confidence he gained after that… So my blog post will commence from this book review..

9) His name is Rajinikanth – Biography of Actor Rajinikanth ( need to buy it L )

Fair enough… ??

Any readers here – who have any Books to suggest which they feel like “The Book that changed their life”…pls drop a line of comment.

`cha…Bachelor Life sucks !!!

I had bought one Best of India – First Harvest – GREEN TEA pack few weeks back as one of my friend suggested to try it and struggled to prepare a cup of tea out of it.

Inspite having a gas stove at my home…not able to prepare just a cup of tea. Puppy shame ! and the best part is “I am reasonably good in cooking’..all that I am scared is to light the stove. Very poor in understanding it. Desperately to try it out, Last week I started asking all the tea shops near by to get HOT water in my flask and believe me, No shop wala is ready to give Hot water. What a shame ! And then asked my house owner aunty from the first floor to prepare and give me hot water. She gave it.

Then started the real scene. Unopened the tea pack and found some weird dry tea leaves in it. What am I supposed to do with that? Dindigul-ukku amma-kku call poatten…she told add the leaves in water and heat it until it comes to a nice boil…and I have a flask of hot water here…now BOIL ? means what??…dunno..still wanted to try..so added the dry tea leaves into the hot water…and you know all the tiny leaves were nicely floating happily on the surface. Aiyyooo !!! what is this mess ?? I wanted a cup of tea – how am in supposed to drink this mess tea leaves soup ???!!! . Can`t do it. Thank God ..house owner aunty dint see it.

Finally you know what I did.

This weekend – Bought a New Prestige – Coffee Percolator cum Tea Brewer.

(Smart right? )

Now Come as a guest to my home and see – how well I prepare it. Chumma…. Tea Aroma itself tastes great.

Pannitoaamla…!

Okay…Why do I want to drink Green Tea ?

NOTE : The one who decided to include the tiny lady voice bit in both the stanzas of this song is a GENIUS. What a – Stress reliever !!!

    Oh No !

It`s my mistake for not having included any post here – about this Chennai fame “Mirchi Suchi”, who has become my very favorite RJ and me not missing her programs daily.

Staying on the East Coast Road – I spend on an average of 40 min (20 min up & down) daily to travel to my office in my company bus along the East Coast Road. Sitting in the Window seat in my company bus , and keeping it full open, and listening to RJ Suchitra Ramamurthy`s “Suchi Sabha” program on RadioOne FM in my ears. Especially this ECR travel during evening hours while returning from office..thats an ambrosssia..

    That’s ultimate!

Actually when I was in Hyderabad, my Chennai friends used to mention a lot about the multi faceted talents of this lady. It all started when I saw her acting in the Mani Ratnam`s “aayudha ezhuthu” and got to know about her talents. Also This lady has sung songs for quite a few good Thamizh hit songs in movies : Laysa Laysa (Enai Polave – a duet with Chitra), Kaakha Kaakha (Uyirin Uyire – another hit duet with KK), Punnagai Poove (Venus Venus Pennae – a duet with Devan) and the ultimate hit voice song in Pokiri (Dole Dole dhan adikkiran). That’s fantastic. Unfortunately she is already married with Alaipayuthey fame Karthik (One who appears as Prasanna’s co-star in “Kanda Naal Mudhal” ).:-(

Anyways, I used to listen her “Suchi Sabha” program daily on RadioOne FM and everyday she used to discuss on city happenings, national/international newsworthy snippets, sports, business, and it comes to Chennaivasis in a fun-format, easy-to-digest style.

Today`s discussion topic was “ IN Chennai There are on an average 4200 illegal ad banner hoardings on all main roads. Chennai becoming a Very Hot Place due to global warming – the Government has decided to remove these hoardings and have already removed 1000 of them as a part of Global warming awareness efforts. By removing such hoardings – Green Trees are proposed to be planted on all those places. So Is this removal right or not ? “ . That’s the discussion today and quite a few interesting comments from the callers. One says it is right . Another says – What big are we going to achieve my planting trees ? . And another caller says – Such banners are the real beauty while traveling through Chennai roads “…

Well. I would say such removal of hoardings are quite Good for us.
