Movies

This review below for the Dasavatharam movie is an incomplete one and if one understands the movie properly then each day he/she will be able to get microscopic details and funda inferred(mark this word) through this movie. Also I had tried to collect some special review & analysis facts from other sources as well , consolidated them and presenting them here along with my own thoughts:

This movie Dasavatharam – Directed by K.S.Ravikumar – Music by Himesh Reshamiya and the 10 lead roles played by Kamal hasan – is a normal entertainer for some group of people , could be a boring entertainer for some…and for some special group of people – i.e. for those who either strongly believe or disbelieve the existence of God/Super Natural Power , this movie gives for them a super feast…because the God / the Super Natural Power by itself plays an important role in this movie along with the 10 characters. And for those who believe in the existence of God , can understand that the God / SNP character appears throughout the movie giving only the hint that It appears. The sad part is that many , are not able to appreciate such minute things in this movie.

The movie highlights the happening of huge unimaginable things of life because of our ignorance – with a perfect right blend of eternal concepts like –
re-incarnation , omens , karma yoga, chaos theory and the butterfly effect. So before starting watching this movie, if one can atleast try to understand what these are, he /she will be able to appreciate the minute things of movie even. Otherwise the movie is just a commercial entertainer.

To explain the theme of the movie in one-or-two liners :
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. And the fact is that this is true even for universal entities including the SNP that created this universe, and applicable for centuries throughout. This is the hint. A statue which gets immersed into the ocean in 12th century(action) is responsible for creating Tsunami in 21st century(re-action). And re-action occurs in such a way that equation gets exactly balanced. The reverse corollary is Basically, small perturbations results in amplifications which completely destroys the original nature of the system and makes prediction impossible.
i.e.

Action:
Kamal and Asin who gets separated in 12th century (characters)
Fighting for existence of Perumal(vainavites)
Because of statue getting immersed(event)
=
Re-action:
Kamal and asin(re-incarnated carrying karmic records) getting re-united in 21st century(characters)
Justifying the victory of perumal
Because of Tsunami (event)

Tsunami was created on 26th December 2004 out of tremor that started in Indonesian ocean…that’s just one part everyone knows. But what created the tremor ? if one says the remnants of deep earth inside the ocean created the tremor, then the next question will be , what created those remnants ? A cause and effect analysis or a Why-Why analysis and a reverse engineering will finally end up somewhere in the layers above the earth, which will enlighten one that basically the ones that got buried centuries back because of some events are emanating in this century to balance some universal equations on the previous event.. If one gets this basic thought and a basic question within him / herself like – Why should an unexpected tsunami arise all of a sudden and kill 30000 people. Is that a destined event ? . This movie captures one such possibility for the event, saying like “tsunami was created by a SNP that occurred for a good cause. If it would not have come at that point may be the happenings on earth would have been worse”…

The catalyst for the above equation being the re-incarnation and the karmic records getting translated from century to another century. And the characters created in the intermediate karmic journey(designed by a controller/ SNP).The basic of any equation is that there needs to a ‘control system’ / controller. That SNP/ Govindaraja Perumal which has been portrayed as the Controller in this movie is the question for all – That where is it and how is it ? From where does that GRPerumal control all these events?

“World history is an art of chain of events balancing some equations.”
Ulaga nigazhvugalin koarvai dhan ulaga sarithiram..

For example : If a butterfly flaps its wings in Africa,it could result in a cyclone in USA.(Mark the word COULD). The fact is that butterfly’s wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that may ultimately alter the path of a tornado or delay, accelerate or even prevent the occurrence of a tornado in a certain location..

The movie starts when the Ranganathar / Govindaraja Perumal idol was thrown out of the sea causing the tsunami at the end of the movie which highlights the cyclic nature of life. Actually the Nambi character(Kamal) highlights both Chaos and Karma.

That is the brilliance of this film, there is so much to see and understand.

But How?
For that one must have a minimum understanding of “CHAOS THEORY” and “BUTTERFLY EFFECT”.
(Which kamal also explains during the start of the movie)

What are they ?

To just brief about these Concepts,
(PS : Explanations below sourced from review gathered from different experts. Presenting them below)
An expert basically explains them as below :

Q: What is Chaotic System ?
A: Basically a chaotic system is one wherein long term predictions are impossible.Like for example,if I push a car, I know that it is going to move and it will continue to do so if I go on pushing it on and on.However,in a chaotic system, this situation cannot be predicted over a long period of time.
Weather for example is a chaotic system. No matter how good your instruments are,you simply cannot predict the weather with 100% accuracy over a long term basis and forecast it.

Q: What is the Butterfly Effect ?
A: It is the most important component of a chaotic system.Basically, small perturbations results in amplifications which completely destroys the original nature of the system and makes prediction impossible.
If a butterfly flaps its wings in Africa,it could result in a cyclone in USA.(Mark the word COULD).

(A highly dumbed down explanation of the butterfly effect is in the film Anniyan, where Vikram’s sister dies because a liquor shop owner sells liquor on a dry day.)

Now coming back to the butterfly effect..

If a butterfly flaps its wings in Africa,it could result in a cyclone in USA.(Mark the word COULD).

A butterfly COULD cause a hurricane? yes..That’s a huge probability. Or Would be a negligible probability. NOT a huge one. if that were true, we would have cyclones on an hourly basis as butterflies keep flitting all over Africa and u don’t have so many cyclones to account for a HUGE probability.
Chaos, relativity and quantum mechanics are so damn weird that I will think I am talking metaphysics and pseudoscience.

Like for example, according to quantum mechanics, there is a finite probability that you will fall right through a solid chair. And it is a PROBABILITY.
Even 10 to the power -26 is finite :-) .

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaos_theory http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly_effect

In the above links u can see that butterfly’s wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that may ultimately alter the path of a tornado or delay, accelerate or even prevent the occurrence of a tornado in a certain location..

Okay. Now where is the connection of all these concepts in DASAVATHARAM?

IF after understanding the above concepts , one watches the movie, they`ll be able to appreciate some minute things in the whole movie which are summarized as below:

How does Dasa incorporate it ?

A: In essence,Dasa talks about 8 characters who are inconsequential as such, but are integrated in a larger picture.

• The 1st scene is perfectly connected to the climax. The 1st scene where Siva-ites and vainavites fight for establishing the Govindaraja Perumal Statue – is perfectly connected to the climax, remember what Kamal says in the 1st scene, that he will not say “Om Nama Shivaya”(Panchacharam) , but Asin tells him to chant it , but still Kamal refuses , ( in this kamal in his story tries to tell that ) and only chants ‘Om Namo narayananayaa”(Astacharam), Nambi(Kamal) believes in his God more than anything, but Asin feels “It’s ok if we change the God or chant other God’s name, its life that’s most important.”

• Now if we see the climax it’s JUST OPPOSITE(Re-action funda again)…. Kamal doesn’t believe in God much and values lives of people the most…. but Asin deeply believes in god and that too this dialogue comes when both Asin and Kamal’s hand is on the God(Justifying Perumal`s presence after so many 100 years) which came from the sea , and it also means that they are getting united from the place they departed hundreds of years back ( Kamal and Asin).

The connection between the 1st scene and the climax in the movie shows the generation circle combined with supernatural powers of GOD and destiny…..!!!

• If you watch it closely you can also find another actor who has done double action other than Asin and Kamal.
Asin’s father Sahasranamam [12th Century], in the beginning he says to Nambi “Panchatchira manthirathai sollitu vaango mappillai” and at the End [After tsunami] he says “Avar enna jathiyo inga vaanga paati “.
That’s Another Eg. of Chaos Theory and circle of life..

• Another explanation(and this is slightly farfetched— as explained earlier) is that Govindh the scientist is in fact the reincarnation of Nambi. As Nambi he couldn’t protect God and died in the name of God. In order to fulfill his Karma, he is reincarnated as Govind Ramasamy who ultimately saves the world from destruction. The idol in the end somewhat hints to this theory; his story began with the idol and it ends with the idol.
As far as the connection with Nambi character and events in 12th Century goes…
The connection is based on the “Butterfly effect “.

• When Govind and Andal goes to bury the idol in the sands, Andal will stumble on a particular stone couple of times…This is the same stone as the one from 12th Century when Kothai(Asin) rips her Thaali and flings it at Kulothunga Chozan…it will end up hanging on the stone. So, the implied message here is Andal is Kothai reborn in the 21s century.
During the encounter with Santhana Bharathi in the sand quarry, it is repeat of the incident from 12th century. Instead of Kulothunga Chozhan, it is the Sand Mafia which tries to inflict damage on the land.

• The idol that is drowned in the sea along with Rangarajan in 12th century by Chozha king results in a fault being developed at the bottom of the ocean and creates tremors more than 800 years later. These tremors result in the Tsunami. This again is a classic case of Butterfly Effect wherein a seemingly inconsequential event (the drowning of the idol) saves Tamil Nadu from being wiped out off the face of the earth.

• Actually kamal has not left anything for our imagination… Explanation struck the right chord, Kamal does tell to Asin in a dialogue that idol which gets sunken back then gets struck between the tectonic plates under the sea and causes tsunami…
Many people missed this dialogue i guess. Kamal’s accent was so very perfect Tamil, that many people missed it…. Being perfect Is a Problem by Itself !!!

• Although the explanation is a least possible theory, that is what “Chaos Theory” And “Butterfly Effect” are all about.

Its not just the statue that caused the tsunami, but it just started a large chain of effects which kept multiplying exponentially and finally lead to it after 800 years….!!
Why just say this concept is perfectly illogical… But it is possible!!!

• Mallika sherawat and Fletcher are to be interpreted as re-incarnated versions of shiva-ites which is clearly evident when mallika sherawat tries to stop the lorry coming on the road by waving her hands. The pose with which she shows her hands to stop the lorry will be soon shown in the very next clip as an Shiva idol sketched in the back of the lorry. Similarly the lorry in which kamal and Asin tries to escape will carry the Perumal Namam sketched on it.

• The story line is that things going wrong are made to be right which involves many people and countries knowingly or unknowingly.

Knowingly:
-Bush, Manmohan Singh, Govindh, Fletcher, Balaram Naidu, Mallika Sherawath.

Unknowingly:
- Nambi’s drowning to death with the heavy statue causes simple changes to the seabed that causes a devastating tsunami 800 years later [Acc. to Chaos theory it is possible.... although it is least probable... It is possible.. so nothing TOTALLY WRONG About it ]
- Poovaragan (actually saved kamal unknowingly—when poovaragan enters kamal and asin were caught by those manal kollayargal. There poovaragan distracts the gang helping kamal to escape),
- Avatar Singh(gave way to Fletcher to escape in the airport unknowingly),
- Japanese(saved Govindh from fletcher,he knows he is saving but he doesn’t know about the play and was there only for revenge),
- Kallifulla and family(saved Govindh unknowingly)……..
- Vincent Poovaragan is a dalit leader of a lower caste( the so called ) but saved an Iyengar Girl ……and at the end becomes the son of the Iyengar Paati
- If Shinghen(the martial artist) Narahashi’s sister was not killed, Fletcher could have killed Govindh and used the virus for wrong purpose..

This is based on Chaos Theory..!!!!!
• Without Shinghen (the martial artist from Japan), Govind the scientist would be dead.

• Without the tsunami, the world would have been destroyed.

• Even Krishnaveni Patti plays a very important role.If she had not put the vial in the idol, maybe Govind the scientist would have recovered it then and there and a powerful weapon would have been unleashed. The very fact that it went into the idol meant that it was being accelerated to its destiny.

• Without Kaifulla Khan, Govind would have never escaped;the list simply goes on.
Be it a coincidence, or He possibly had that in mind as an inspiration, the following very interesting facts also amuses me !!!

One thing we had noticed is why people didn’t get the real subtext and reason for the various roles and hence the title.
If you knew the real Dasavatharam of Lord Vishnu and their characters you can appreciate the script more.
Let me explain, starting with the best adapted role:

1. Krishna avatar – Vincent Poovaraghavan
Lord krishna is actually a dalit, he is dark-skinned [shyamalam]. He saved draupadi when she was being violated and he was the actual diplomat in Mahabharata. Lord krishna dies of an arrow striking his lower leg. Now look at how Vincent was introduced.. he appears when asin is about to be molested and he saves her like draupadi. Vincent is the dalit diplomat, fights for land issue [soil issue to be exact] and dies from the metal rod striking his leg. Oh even five of vincent’s men are drugged at P. Vasu’s.. sounds familiar???

2. Balarama avatar – Balarama Naidu
This is an easy given. as the name suggests and the role personifies you can easily get it.

3. Mathsya avatar – Ranagaraja Nambi
Nambi is thrown into water in an act of trying to save lord from being thrown into sea, though vainly. what more clue do you want?

4. Varaha avatar – Krishnaveni paati
During the mukunda song, Krishnaveni paati does varaha avatar in the shadow puppetry. The frame freezes on it for a second. there is the clue. Moreover, in varaha avatar lord actually hides earth so as to protect life forms. Here too Krishnaveni hides the germs – life form inside the statue so as to protect.

5. Vamana avatar – Kalifulla khan
Remember in vamana avatar, lord Vishnu takes the vishvaroopa, that is the giant form! Hence the giant Kalifulla here symbolizes vamana avatar.

6. Parasurama avatar – Christian Fletcher
Parasurama is actually on an angry killing spree and killed 21 generations of the particular kshatriya vamsa. Hence the real KILLER… Guess what that’s what our Fletcher is! He comes around with the gun [modern upgrade for axe] and kills everyone around. I have to check if he kills 21 people though. :-D

7. Narasimha avatar – Shinghen Narahashi’s
first of all the name itself is a play on the words singam [means lion in Tamil] and Narasimha [the avatar being symbolized]. Lord Narasimha manifests himself to kill the bad guy and he also teaches prahaladha. In the movie, he shows up to kill the killer Fletcher! and is also a teacher.. Lord Narasimha had to kill the asura with bare hands and hence the martial arts exponent here.. get it?

8. Rama avatar – Avatar Singh
Lord Rama stands for the one man one woman maxim, kind of symbolizing true love.. Here Avatar portrays that spirit by saying that he loves his woman more than anything and wants to live for her.

9. Kalki avatar – Govindaraja Ramasamy
As you know, the hero in kaliyug can be none other than the Kalki avatar!!!

10. Koorma avatar – Bush
This is the most loose adaptation I couldn’t clearly comprehend. But if you look at the real Koorma avatar, the lord is the turtle/tortoise that helps in stirring the ksheera sagara and bringing out the amruth. This essentially creates war among the devas and asuras. Similarly today Bush facilitates war between you know whom… May be Kamal also indicates that this avatar is a bit dumb like the tortoise..

Perhaps this is the closest way .. any layman could lay his hands over chaos theory – butterfly effect !!

One can think like – Can a flap of a butterfly cause a tornado elsewhere ?! – is a bullshit.
But Theoretically yes !!

Science is not so complex .. but Nature and Life is .. !

This Story below is a brilliant juxtaposition of characters whose paths cross, if only briefly, which is stunning . Okay ? What`s the purpose that i am posting this strory here..

Well..Please spend some time in understanding this post how much ever you can…bcoz  this will give the reader sufficient energy and adequate boost to do a sophisticated analysis of this movie – “Dasavatharam” . I am not bothered about the 10 characters or the kamal hasan`s talent all that.

But the script and theme of the story is truly great and truly my favorite of all time, The Brilliant and best of all story scripts that I have ever come across –  the relationship and correlation of all happenings in life that are unimaginable things because of our ignorance. Making a story in this theme itself is a great task .

The central theme of this story being ..The Butterfly effect and the Chaos theory. Confused ? okay..just read ahead this story here ..and i`ll soon come up the Dasavatharam`s complete review facts throughout and come here back..

Here goes a story for the readers to read and analyse…

A mentally demented person wrote this once long back

1975 Jan 1

It is about five in the morning. Father (I am not bothering with names) woke up with a start. Many years had passed since he had founded the orphanage.

He had named it “X-Orphanage”, a rather funny name. But looking back, everything about his life seemed funny now. Hearing some noise outside, Father decided to have a look.

A child lay there in front of the orphanage. It was a girl. Seeing her abandoned like this in the cold morning, Father felt a sense of anger for the merciless being who had thrown her away like this. He took her in his arms. He would raise her like his own child.

17 Years Later

The girl has grown up now. She is now staying in a hostel. She meets a man and falls in love with him. She gets pregnant. The man disappears.

She is thrown out of the Hostel.

Father comes and takes her back to the orphanage. She gives birth to a girl but the baby is mysteriously stolen. Unable to bear all this, the Father commits suicide.

Due to some problems concerning the delivery, the girl went to see a Doctor. The doctor having examined her, said with a sad expression on his face, “Adrenalo Sytosis, a serious case of hormone imbalance”. An operation was performed in which the doctor had to change the sex of the patient.

The girl was now transformed to a man.

The man was very depressed because he had lost his child, the father had committed suicide, his lover had betrayed him, and he had to change sex and so on. He eventually took to drinking.

One day he saw that a new bar had opened in his locality. The name of the bar was ‘Sangeetha Bar’. He went inside. There he saw a bearded man.

The bearded man told him that he had a Time Machine and that he could take it. He accepted the gift from the bearded man. He decided to go to the past (to the year 1992) and started the Time Machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1992

The man arrives with the Time Machine in the year 1992.There he meets a girl (the same girl who has now become the man) and falls in love with her.

The girl gets pregnant. The man, unwilling to marry her, leaves the town. He goes to another city, earns some money and comes backs to the city where the girl lives. He wants to conceal his identity, so he has grown a beard.

He starts a bar named ‘Sangeetha Bar’. When he was sitting in the bar, a man comes (the same man who was earlier the girl). He gives the Time machine to the man. The man starts the Time Machine and goes to the past.

Suddenly a man wearing a mask comes to the bar. He points a gun at the bearded man .He says that he has a Time Machine and he will take the bearded man to the past. Taking the bearded man with him, the masked man starts the Time Machine.

When they reach the past, the masked man gives the Time Machine to the bearded man and runs away. The bearded man finds himself in front of X-Orphanage. He goes inside and finds a woman (the same woman who later becomes the man) lying there with her new born baby. It is a girl. He takes the girl and starts the Time Machine to go to the past (to the year 1975).

1975 Jan 1

The bearded man arrives with the girl. He leaves her in front of X-Orphanage. He joins a college, studies hard and becomes a doctor. One day a woman was brought to the hospital. He examines her and finds that it is a serious case of ‘Adrenalo Sytosis’. He performs an operation in which he changes her sex. He then starts the Time Machine and goes to the past.

He arrives at a time of great famine and suffering Seeing all this, he decides to become a priest and to serve the people. He starts an orphanage and names it ‘X-Orphanage’.

One day (1975 Jan 1), he finds a girl lying in front of the orphanage. He takes her and brings her up like his own child.

One day he hears that the girl is pregnant and is thrown out of the hostel. He brings her back to X-Orphanage. She gives birth to a girl.

The Father wants to go to the future. He wears a mask, takes a gun and starts the Time Machine. He reaches in front of ‘Sangeetha Bar’. He goes inside and forces the bearded man to travel along with him to the past.

Reaching the past, he feels guilty about forcing the bearded man to come with him. He gives the Time Machine to the bearded man and runs away.

When he returns, he hears the sad news that the baby is stolen. Unable to bear the sorrow, he commits suicide.

Desperately i want to write in my style ..my own review for this movie ‘The Forbidden Kingdom’ which i had seen y`day and simply liked it very much. But :-( . Work is getting hectic for me and Not finding enough time to write it.

Typical My type movie…and especially though only limited characters appear in the whole movie,  i liked almost all the characters’ role and performance…especially the Jetli`s Monkey King character(My favvorrite), the immortal shop keeper jackie chan`s old man character, jackie`s the drunken master character , jetli`s monk character, the villain lady fighting for elixir of life(she is rrrReally pretty !!! ) and the young man who fights for the holy weapon and the sparrow lady…excellent. The Theme of the movie even was a typical my type…

Shall post a separate review if i get time … :-)

I Love The Monkey King !

`am in a perfect mood this week…things are going better and `am self-satisfied in life aspects, job , parents etc etc.. Thanks to maximus that i started this week watching him..and i feel my blood coursing through my veins so fresh…especially the last scene of the movie,as he dies down where he tries to open the door to heaven in his mind and his wife & son awaiting him there with a sweet smile …this one scene and the background score is staying in my heart this whole week. Actually i found out one thing. This background score & the title music in ‘Ghajini’ are same…harris had done some ctrl+x ctrl+v from this movie…anyways the favorite scene video here again…and Thanks to maximus once again. He lives in my heart.

And the favorite arabic backgroung score in this one…

“My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next”

Dont mind. Just posting this after watching GLADIATOR an another time after almost an year..and yes it`s the dialogue of maximus’ and the favorite of everyone..

I finished watching this movie ‘jab we met’ yday – by seeing it in two halves on last two days and though I would say that the movie was very nice and loved it overall , still have a core issue to putforth which is kind of unacceptable for me.

Anshuman! It`s not fair to leave him into the streets in the climax. And this post is all for that.

Though the entire movie had loads of romance and fun to entertain the audience, Somehow after completing watching the movie somehow I cannot resist myself to end up feeling pity for ANSHUMAN character in this movie. I would say that there is no mistake in him, even.

I know once I make this statement there can be many hazars of argument points for the readers like – “how dare that I think even to say the above statement…when.. Geet(kareena) came out of her house such a long distance to live with Anshuman..and how can he simply leave her in the streets by saying ‘No’ … that made her suffer for some 9 months in isolation..blah blah etc “..

But –

1)      Anshuman never asked Geet to come out of her house and infact at one point shouts at her for having come out of her house ( not all a mistake..)

2)      After Aditya (Shahid) comes back and asks geet to scold Anshuman over phone – the moment on hearing those gaali from her, infact Anshuman realizes for his acts for having left her into the streets as such…and this for me is acceptable. How can one expect a person to be 100 % perfect always. That too with whom you love. To err is human. He infact agrees and accepts while repenting to kareena that – he did it out of his anger and apologises for his act. Here comes the point of adjustment. Geet did not do it religiously.

3)      When all three characters of the love triangle go back to bhatinda – here also kareena somehow denying to tell her mom that Anshuman is actually is true mapillai is unacceptable for me. She has to do it. Here the director has shown in a very polished way by making comedy scenes, songs etc etc…and picturises that love between Aditya & Geet is the true one and not the one between Anshuman & Geet. How is this possible ?? Anshuman never denied his love for her. All that mistake he did was leaving geet into the streets and THIS IS NOT OUT OF HIM..he did not ask her to come out of her house and deny her when she comes to him…it`s Geet`s naughty mistake actually. And he gets anger out it. A very normal human emotion coming out of  his – CARE.

4)      Again atlast how can she let Anshuman into the streets jlt…very sad of him…This story can be a fun entertainer in the screen but very hard for anshuman like character in real life. Seeing  geet falling in  love for Aditya right in front of his eyes and  more importantly seeing  geet  kissing aditya in front of his eyes…etc etc is totally unacceptable for me and this is a very very big punishment & disappointment that a girl can ever give a guy who loves her actually.

Anyways finally – This is just a movie and we should take it easily. That’s what you want to tell me right ? mm…seri. I don`t know how perfect I am and so cannot make assertive arguments here. Just an opinion.

BTW kareena is gumm in this movie…having reduced her body to a Zero-size..sooperabbu!

And the ‘jab hi woh ladki kidki pe aayi..’ song rocks…

The Legend in 10 different characters…

Ye kuruvi kuruvi kuruvi adichaaaa…

Oh My God !

Yesterday i returned late night from office after having a brain storming and exhausting day. After entering my home , i immediately switched on the TV remote first without even removing my shoes – and this trailer of this Thamizh movie started like this “First time in the history of Tamil Cinema…..One legend in ten different characters”…oh my god..for the next 3-4 min, i was not able to able to move my eyes, eye lids, eye balls, eye lashes, hands, legs, body etc…Total Pause in standing position. The trailer was “World-Class”. Simply amazing…Tamil cinema is really marching towards a next world class quality.

I was actually wondering few days back..why for the audio release function for this movie(probably on Apr 25th)..Mr.Jackie Chan ..has been invited. That too..by paying him around 25 crores for audio release function only..and Not only Jackie chan..Mr.Big B & TN CM and many more big celeberities going to witness it….  I guess even the hero of the movie wont get such a pay. But after watching the trailer only it seems like – the movie deserves it.  I was able to see few martial art scenes in that very fast moving trailer and i guess Mr.Jackie wud ve contributed something for making it. Dunno. Anyways i dunno how abt the movie….

But the Trailer of the movie is worth watching………..(100 times) :-)

Last weekend i had been there to my native place – Dindigul and was quite surprised to see that this li`l town has now got a new ADLABS – cinema screen now.

Wow ! And surprisingly the inauguration was on April 13th – on Thamizh New year`s day and i was there promptly for the first day first show. !

Still tickets costs were quite high – which definitely must be a shocking and unbearable for the town people.Costs include – Rs.65 , 85 , 110 .

With a Red color theme based new cinema complex – ADLABS screens glitter with all hi-fi music system, seatings, interval snacks etc. Something which is now very different for our town people there.

Anyways – i went to the Santhosh subramaniam movie – and nothing much to mention about it.Same usual love story – hero loves heroine – and overcomes family problems to end up in marriage. How he tackles the problems – is that all makes this story.

Prakash raj is a very responsible father taking care of each and every choice to be the best one for his sons. Whereas his son Jayam ravi is also a want – to be -responsible son. But as he gets everything in his life of his father`s best choice, he is not able to get any thing what he prefers what he likes for his life.He atleast wants the career and the life partner to be of his choice. He gets engaged with a girl and falls in love with another girl. Now How he handles his father to get his love – is all the story.

Jayam ravi plays a soft hero character -. i expected many action sequences , as this guy being a real life trained martial artist. But story line is not an action type one.

And wait. Here comes the important part.Genelia D`souza . Yes if you are a

‘Loosu’ lover – then this movie is for you. Not getting it ? yes from the very first scene till the last scene – genelia looks amazing with her

all loosu loosu loosu stylish expressions and behaviors. Especially for happy go guys like me – such a loosu type characters are always time pasing one.

:-)

Really..such a nice impressing loosu madhri expressions and doings – throughout the movie.

I was not so impressed with the songs in the movie. However there is One song sung by Boys fame siddharth – which is amazing . Dint know that this ‘kuzhanda payyan’ can sing well too. In his Adadaa adadaa song – the Flute rhythm and the ‘sari gama’ background tune appears on all romantic scenes in the movie and stays in our heart too for the whole day.

Listen it here:

Song : Adada Adada Adada..

http://www.raaga.com/channels/tamil/movie/T0001302.html

Sathosh subramaniam – recommended must watch movie for loosu lovers.

Sorry !

I went with much expectation.Definitely the movie is not of my type.

Could have had a Happy gobhi manchurian for 40 Rs. ticket. :-(
