Jackie Chan : mmm… ! Its long been foretold..there was an old prophecy…that a secret researcher will come..to restore this holy stick to the right person and end the reign of the Jade War Lord.

Young Man : What ? Return the stick to whom?

The Monkey King

~Born of a stone

On the mountain of fruits and flowers (MK`s adi no.1 here..)

But his weapony there (MK`s adi no.2 & 3..)

His teeth become like a fire (MK`s adi no. 4 & 5..)

His stick fighting like a magic (MK`s adi no.6)

He defined the order of the land (MK`s adi no.7)

But

The Jade army could not defeat him

(MK`s adi no.8,9,10,11,12…)

(MK`s adi adi adi adi…..)

The monkey king crushed every soldier ..

With his magical stick he is unbeatable

Well with his disobedience he Travelled

To The Forbidden Kingdom of Jade emperor

To the Five elements mountain

Land of the immortals..

Once every 500 years

The Jade emperor hosts the heavenly gathering

It is here the heavenly ministers

Gather to celebrate the longevity

And drink the Elixir of immortality

Once if this heavenly elixir drunk

Will give everlasting life

Free from mortal sufferings and desires

In to the heavenly gathering of heavenly ministers

The Monkey King crashed

Uninvited !

The jade emperor was fascinated by the Monkey king

But the Jade warlord was not amused.

The Jade war lord , the army guide demanded

And the Monkey king bowed down to it

(in his own naughty style)

And said “Okieeee…??”

Soldiers come to stop him….(adi no.13,14,15,16..)

The jade emperor felt the Monkey king is just only bit unrefined.

That’s all !!!

The emperor asked the war lord

To give as a Naughty monkey title and cast him away.

Satisfied with the heavenly drink in the gathering

The jade emperor left the place

To begin his 500 years meditation

Leaving the Jade war load in-charge of heaven

But rather than obeying the words of Jade emperor command

The Jade war lord challenged the Money king for a fight,

AND SO,

High above the five elements mountain of fruits and flowers

THE BATTLE OF IMMORTALITY WAS FOUGHT..

Here it goes….

Unable to defeat The Monkey king

The war lord replied The Monkey king..

“Without your weapon you are nothing but a lonely hermit

No more weapons

No more stick magic

FIST against the FIST ?”

The Monkey King was too trusting

And believed war lord`s words

Lying down his magic stick

As he kept down the stick

The warlord played a trick

And cast the stick far away.

And made The Monkey king into a STONE.

And Said,

MARTIAL ART IS BASED ON DECEPTION , MY FRIEND..

Being immortal The Money king could not be killed

Only made as a Stone

At that moment a secret prophecy was written that…

A researcher from west will come one day

And restore the stick

And free The Monkey king

To Life.

So how is he freed ?

Dilemma No.#1

I registered myself for a corporate program on “Leadership” and had the first day session today.I was able to get many valuable inputs through this session. After completing the program – i`ll try to summarize some key concepts over here in next few days.

Well i can share lot of things about my views regarding this so called – LEADERSHIP.

But – today while i was listening to the program ideas, as usual got some questions in mind .

I am basically a spiritual seeker and so felt the importance of these questions that come in my mind.

Because what essentially is usually being taught in any Management programs is that – MAKE YOUR LIFE , smooth going by ‘PLANNING THINGS’…and it all revolves around goal setting, plan making and plan executing and plan management.

And what essentially is usually conveyed in spiritual world is that – DON`T PLAN your life..and TAKE LIFE AS IT COMES…

For me both of these cases works out on different situations..and how exactly to bring a balance between succeeding as a professional and as a moral humanitarian in life becomes quite a BIG question in me. Dunno how many readers here are able to understand the depth of my doubt and `am really really very tired now to make my question with clear words too…sorry about it – if this post is too incomprehensible..Good Night !

PS : Feelings… with a 90 % Drowsy eyes(updating @ 11:14 PM): My Dear blog…having spent a lovely time with you so far here all these days , i am very sorry to mention you that my job responsibilities in office are increasing nowadays , and all that i can foresee is a series of weeks of unrest , where i will be sitting in front of my system till late night breaking my head to accomplish tasks which are really not going to add any meaning in my life,my desires and my quest. Yet i`ll try my best to get in touch with you with same affection and curiosity as before…I am worried that i may not get in touch with you with the same curiosity as i used to have..Thanks for being my stress reliever and i am sure you will continue with your valuable role…Thanks once again..G`nite!

OMG !

Oh My God !

Yesterday i returned late night from office after having a brain storming and exhausting day.After entering my home , i immediately switched on the TV remote first without even removing my shoes – and this trailer of this Thamizh movie started like this “First time in the history of Tamil Cinema…..One legend in ten different characters”…oh my god..for the next 3-4 min, i was not able to able to move my eyes,eye lids, eye balls,eye lashes,hands,legs,body etc…Total Pause in standing position. The trailer was “World-Class”. Simply amazing…Tamil cinema is really marching towards a next world class quality.

I was actually wondering few days back..why for the audio release function for this movie(probably on Apr 25th)..Mr.Jackie Chan ..has been invited. That too..by paying him around 25 crores for audio release function only..and Not only Jackie chan..Mr.Big B & TN CM and many more big celeberities going to witness it….  I guess even the hero of the movie wont get such a pay. But after watching the trailer only it seems like – the movie deserves it.  I was able to see few martial art scenes in that very fast moving trailer and i guess Mr.Jackie wud ve contributed something for making it. Dunno. Anyways i dunno how abt the movie….

But the Trailer of the movie is worth watching………..(100 times)

 

Power Serve

Great day again – few days back. Another wonderful opportunity knocked my doors for the second time when the CSR team selected a group of associates randomly again. Yes! This time also my name was in. That was an unexpected lucky notification for me too when I received the mail to participate in the TOYS distribution program that was planned to distribute fun Toys for LKG & UKG section school children @ Cauvery Matriculation school @ Thoraipaakam, OMR. And one more pleasant surprise. The Guest who had come and who distributed the toys was none other than our own CEO of our organization! That was incredible news for me. Because I had not seen him so far before going to this event. An MNC company CEO – distributing TOYS to small small kids. Definitely then I am really lucky to see all this.

 

The moment when I received the mail that the team will be visiting a matriculation school this time, my initial thought was – Why a Matriculation school? Is not that serving poor schools will make it worthy? But after visiting the school only I could see how poor this school was. Such a small one and the school itself run by charitable trusts and social welfare helpers.

 

As usual when a group of around 40 of us reached there, we were split into two groups and each of us need to go separately to A & B sections of LKG and UKG classes. Playing with such kutti kutti children was so nice. I (We) had an amazing time spent there with really cute kutti payyans and ponnus. They were all initially seemed to be so scared looking at all of us. One of their teachers came forward and started instructing the children. He asked the children to stand up and tell their names facing towards us. That was really entertaining. Most of the children were telling “Good Morning Miss. I am Agalya “, “Good Morning Miss. I am Vinoth “, “Good Morning Miss. I am pradeep “ etc. There was no “Good morning Sir” by any chance. When I directly asked one child, “Thambi Good morning sir ellam kidayadhaapa? Eppovum good morning miss dhana? “, even then also no effect. Miss Dhan and Miss mattum dhan. L . Then started the ‘Rhymes’ session. Yes! The same old Johnny Johnny yes papa -  twinkle twinkle little star -  nila nila oadi vaa. They sang them all in a group. Then we were asked to interact with few children. I asked them to come to the front and demonstrate us any special talents they have. Three small boys came forward and singing by themselves the “aadungada enna suthi” song from pokiri movie they performed a dance for us.

 Then started the real fun. Games session. What game? What else, the usual ringa ringa roses. ! . However it was a fun that we Big Big children also joined hands with them in the chain and formed a round and played the game

 

And finally our VIP CEO arrived. The children greeted him with a warm “Good Morning Sir” when he entered in. It was real a surprise to the children actually as we did not reveal them before that we are going to give those toys. When the CEO arrived, he opened the cupboard box and all the children were really surprised to see many toys inside it. They were looking at us asking as if like “Are these toys for us? “. Yes! Actually. We made them stand in a queue and gave them one toy each and they were all so happy to get it.

I was able to see few of them indeed started quarrelling when some nice toys went to the hands of others and when they did not get the toy of their choice. Our CEO had a wonderful time there spending few minutes with the children and giving them the Toys, inspite of his busy schedule.

 One bitter truth that which I felt at that moment – Distributing toys like this actually is the beginning of jealousy, greediness, theft, quarrel, inferiority complex etc. One lesson for all us that time was that we should have brought same toys to be distributed for everyone. We realized our mistake. Finally the class instructor came forward and suggested them all a plan. He asked the children to keep all the toys in the school cupboard itself and not to take them to their home. The instructor said them that those toys are meant to play in the school only and not to take to home of their own. There in the school they can play in group taking any toys they wish and this will solve the problem. J . Smart instructor.

NEWS : Kuruvi officially sings on Monday! That’s true, the audio of much awaited “Kuruvi” will set the doors open on April 14th 2008 to the frenzy fans of Ilayathalapathy. A product of threesome ‘Ilayathalapathy’ Vijay, Director Dharani and Music Director Vidya Sagar’s audio will roll starting this Monday.

VFN has officially confirmed this exclusive news from trusted sources however with the shooting going at a fast phase in Hyderabad, its yet not clear if there would be a function for the launch. Whilst we have learnt that audio release functions are planned. The confirmation depends only if the shooting gets completed on time at Hyderabad schedule.

The audio would be available from ‘AnAk Audios’ in Stores around the world. Ayngaran, the international distributer would be making a similar release outside India.

A Little Dream

Good news today. A documentary movie about Sir.APJ`s life entitled – ‘A Little Dream’, has been released. Seems like it’s a 1 hour movie that which will portray Sir.APJ`s life and some of his inspiring speeches and his vision plan to make India 2020.

 

No idea where we can get this CD. Plans have been arranged for the Associates from our organization to get a copy of it for Rs.50 from CSR representatives in their respective locations.

Srikkanth said that Vijay and Nayanthara would endorse Chennai Super Kings, appear on hoardings and IPL television advertisements, and also cheer captain M S Dhoni and his team.“The idea of bringing star ambassadors like Vijay and Nayanthara is to popularise the team and get more members for Chennai Super Kings. We will have a lot of support for Chennai Super Kings,” Srikkanth said.

Vijay and Nayanthara who will lend the touch of glamour to the Chennai team are stars riding a wave and are extremely popular in south India.India Cements Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) President and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) treasurer N Srinivasan, the franchisee owner of Chennai Super Kings has pulled a coup by getting two of the hottest stars in south to endorse for them.

Indian pacer L. Balaji who last played for India Red at Chennai in 2006 has also been included as an additional bowler in the Chennai Super Kings team.

SCORE – is a Music magazine that had its grand release function this March in Chennai and the occasion had a quite remarkable personalities from Kollywood to release the first copy. Seems like there are hardly just one or two magazines in India  for Music lovers and that too is for a particular kind of music like Rock and Classical and henceforth is this attempt to come up with a dedicated Music magazine to cater the needs of all range of music lovers.  

This magazine even is going to cover up articles relating not just with Music alone but also the major highlights from Art, Cinema and Photography sections as well. The first issue copy indeed had a quite an impressive look with Music maestro isai puyal A.R.Rahman on the Cover Page with his exclusive peek interview inside.
